Do you think in the near future people will have Tablet PCs instead laptops and desktops PCs?

Question by Hal was a Spectrum ZX: Do you think in the near future people will have Tablet PCs instead laptops and desktops PCs?
As far as I know, Tablet PC is like a laptop but with other flexible features but I do not see many people with Table PCs and I do not see that is sold as well as the laptops.
Do you know why in particular?
Does it need more time to start to see people buying tablet PCs? do they have any disadvantage that makes table PC be less sold?

Would be interesting to see opinions about this.

I doubt it. Interface programmers may come up with a new and better

more computer ,laptop and tablet news ...
